Maintenance Engineer (Automation)

What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment, electrical systems, automation controls, and other logistics-center infrastructure.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to improve equipment reliability and service life.
• Support the installation, commissioning, modernization, and upgrades of new and existing equipment.
• Analyze operational data, identify potential risks, and implement maintenance and process improvements.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure equipment complies with occupational safety and environmental requirements.
• Manage maintenance tools and spare parts, prepare technical reports, share knowledge, and train team members.

Requirements

• Experience or technical competence in maintaining mechanical equipment, electrical systems, automation controls, or logistics infrastructure.
• Ability to diagnose equipment faults and implement effective repairs.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and operational risk analysis.
• Ability to prepare maintenance documentation and provide technical training or knowledge sharing.
• Availability to work on-site in Duisburg, Germany.
