Automation Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and manage automation engineering and technical projects, including upgrade and CE projects.
• Coordinate automation engineering, design activities, and technical changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure engineering work follows hirify.global automation standards and local industry practices.
• Lead technical discussions and provide engineering support to customers, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Support cost estimation, risk assessment, technical coordination, project planning, and design reviews.
• Provide on-site supervision and technical support during installation, commissioning, and project handover.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer.
• Native-level Japanese proficiency required.
• Business-level English proficiency required.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Availability for business travel of approximately 50–60%, with trips lasting from several weeks to several months depending on project requirements.
