What you will do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex space and satellite programmes, including ESA-funded initiatives such as ELEOSYS and European LEO 5G systems.
- Define programme scope, objectives, schedules, success metrics, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate execution across engineering, legal, product, finance, suppliers, subcontractors, and international partners.
- Establish programme governance, monitor milestones and KPIs, facilitate reviews, and provide accurate leadership reporting.
- Act as a senior customer interface for ESA and other institutional stakeholders during negotiations, execution, reviews, and reporting.
- Lead or support strategic proposals, sovereign bid strategies, consortium building, and value proposition development.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years in programme or project management for technology-driven systems.
- Experience delivering complex institutional or multi-partner programmes; European Space Agency experience is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in proposal development and bid leadership for institutional or commercial opportunities.
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder environments across geographies and overseeing suppliers or vendors.
- Understanding of satellite systems and technology; exposure to 5G and Low Earth Orbit systems is advantageous.
- Ability to travel up to 25% and communicate complex business and engineering concepts to senior stakeholders.
