Technical Program Manager (TPM) - Defense

Location: Washington, D.C., United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $93,000–$160,000 per year, plus potential restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Drive defense product deliverables with software engineers, product managers, quality engineers, and designers through the full software development lifecycle.
• Translate product vision and strategy into concrete technical goals, team tasks, and prioritized issues.
• Track project status, anticipate risks, resolve blockers, and stabilize delivery.
• Improve cross-team collaboration, communication, and development efficiency.
• Work with customer-facing engineering teams on product adoption, rollout, and support.

Requirements

• Relevant technical degree or experience in a software-related field, such as systems engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
• At least 2 years of project or program management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing complex software development projects for an enterprise software company or startup.
• Technical aptitude and ability to engage in technical discussions.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a US security clearance at the Secret level or above.
• Strong judgment, composure under pressure, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.
