Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM), Software

Location: Onsite at the Santa Clara, CA headquarters; US work authorization required

Base salary: $200,000–$240,000 per year, plus equity and comprehensive benefits

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end programs for software supporting current and future generations of autonomous robots.
• Create and manage plans covering scope, timelines, resources, milestones, and delivery.
• Coordinate software, hardware, operations, customer-facing teams, and company leadership.
• Identify program risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and drive complex issues to resolution.
• Guide the development of the autonomy stack, including localization, perception, navigation, robot behaviors, and fleet management.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and streamline software development and delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of program management experience, including software products for autonomous systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and guiding software teams through complex product development.
• Experience managing complex projects using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• Must have and maintain US work authorization and be willing to work onsite in Santa Clara.

Nice to have

• 12+ years of program management experience involving autonomous-system software products.
• Experience translating AI solutions into engineering deliverables.
• Experience managing software products deployed in live operations.
• Understanding of software and hardware development processes, system integration, and functional safety certification.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate program management.
