Solution Architect (Telecom)

Location: Englewood, Colorado, United States. Site-based role requiring at least 3 days (60%+) per week at a hirify.global office or work location. US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required.

Salary: $180,500–$285,000 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $224,500–$336,500 annually.

What you will do

• Define end-to-end solutions across telecom business, operational, and network support domains.
• Modernize legacy systems and migrate platforms to scalable, cloud-native solutions.
• Design hybrid multi-orbit satellite and cellular solutions for the direct-to-device market.
• Collaborate with product managers, business partners, and engineering delivery teams.
• Evaluate industry trends and technologies to improve platform functionality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience in telecom platform solution architecture across business, operational, and network support domains.
• Experience integrating 4G and 5G mobile network cores for provisioning, service assurance, and usage record collection.
• Knowledge of TM Forum ODA, MEF, GSMA, 3GPP, and O-RAN 5G architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS, API standards, and system integration patterns.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Experience with ServiceNow SOMT, TSM, or TSOM.
• Experience with eSIM provisioning and domain-driven architecture.
• Experience with satellite telecommunications products and services.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or ArchiMate architecture frameworks.
• Strong partner management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
