What you will do

• Define and drive enterprise architecture standards on Google Cloud Platform.
• Guide application teams through cloud adoption and migration strategies.
• Design secure, scalable, highly available cloud-native solutions.
• Establish governance, security, and operational best practices.
• Review solution designs and align them with business, security, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, platform, customer, and technical teams on Ford cloud transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience in architecture and solution delivery.
• Strong experience with GCP services including IAM, Networking, Scheduler, Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL, and Cloud Spanner.
• Knowledge of Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud.
• Experience designing APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, data integration, event streaming, and API-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating COTS applications and SQL and NoSQL databases, including high-level and detailed design documentation.
• Working knowledge of DevOps principles and Docker/containerization, with strong communication and solution decision-making skills.

• Experience with OpenShift, PCF on GCP, and DevSecOps.
• Experience delivering IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS deployments.
• Experience with real-world cloud migration projects.
