What you will do

  • Assess client RFP technical requirements and identify suitable defense products and solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and evaluate suppliers against technical and quality requirements.
  • Conduct technical reviews, supplier assessments, and technical bid analyses.
  • Work with procurement to develop sourcing strategies for technical components, materials, and services.
  • Collaborate with business development, bid management, proposal, contract, and end-user stakeholders.
  • Monitor defense technology trends, benchmark market solutions, maintain trackers, and manage supplier relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the defense industry, technical sourcing, or solution management.
  • Strong knowledge of weapons, missiles, UAVs, ammunition, radars, and electro-optical systems.
  • Experience with supplier evaluation, technical bid analysis, and sourcing.
  • Strong analytical, communication, supplier relationship, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel for supplier meetings and industry events.
