Staff Content Designer (AI)

Location: Remote; the role does not require being located in the U.S.

An AI-powered app builder and online development platform that enables users to create, edit, and deploy full-stack web and mobile applications in the browser.

What you will do

• Define the product voice, terminology, and reusable content patterns for prompts, errors, empty states, permissions, billing, and settings.
• Embed content standards into the design system, components, and internal agents so teams can produce consistent copy while shipping quickly.
• Review writing across the company and provide feedback that improves judgment and content quality.
• Shape content strategy and product direction from problem definition rather than treating content as final-stage copy-editing.
• Design and ship content-led features such as onboarding and in-product education independently, using Figma or agentic tools.
• Partner with Marketing and CX to align pre-product, in-product, and support experiences.

Requirements

• Portfolio of product content work with at least two detailed examples covering the problem, reasoning, rejected options, and post-launch changes.
• Ability to take a content-led feature from problem to shipped implementation without a product designer.
• Experience creating a standard, system, or guidelines that other people adopted.
• Ability to give effective feedback to non-design stakeholders and writers as a peer.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required; English is the primary working language.

• Startup or small-team experience.
• Experience shaping AI tools or writing for conversational interfaces.
• Experience across product, marketing, and support content, including knowledge migration.
• Consumer product experience.
