Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Salary: $115,000–$155,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems and translate software requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Build functional APIs and GraphQL services in collaboration with frontend developers.
• Design and implement React components for web applications and collaborate with UX/UI specialists on web and mobile interfaces.
• Develop scalable backend components using Node and PHP, including relational database integrations with MySQL.
• Lead code reviews, prepare technical documentation, and define software development lifecycle standards and processes.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices while gathering customer feedback and converting user needs into technical requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience with strong focus on React and Node.
• Strong system design skills and experience architecting scalable, high-performance software systems.
• Advanced knowledge of PHP backend development, MySQL, relational database design, and user table design.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Git or SVN, Linux-based hosting systems, and command-line interfaces.
• Experience with MVC design patterns; familiarity with the CodeIgniter PHP framework is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline is highly desired.

Nice to have

• Startup experience, particularly in SaaS.
• Experience with AI defense contracting.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
