Principal Product Manager, Agent Development Platform (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, or San Diego, California; onsite role

Salary: $243,000–$328,500 in Mountain View; $230,000–$311,000 in San Diego, plus potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and drive the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for the internal Agent Software Development Lifecycle.
• Scale adoption of the Agent Starter Kit, Agent Sandbox, and developer productivity tooling across internal development teams.
• Diagnose pain points across business-unit agent stacks and drive convergence toward shared platform architectures.
• Integrate agent development lifecycle capabilities, context and memory architectures, and agent harness systems into cohesive developer products.
• Evaluate frontier SDKs and open-source agent frameworks to establish safe, pluggable, configuration-driven enterprise standards.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, security, and business leaders to make technical trade-offs and accelerate managed agent development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience delivering complex developer platforms, AI/ML infrastructure, or enterprise software development lifecycle tools.
• Deep technical fluency with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, Claude SDK, OpenAI SDK, and open-source agent tooling.
• Experience with model context and memory architectures and AI-native agent harness capabilities at scale.
• Track record of navigating ambiguity, diagnosing friction in disparate systems, pitching platform products, and driving multi-team convergence.
• Exceptional strategic storytelling, cross-functional influence, and leadership across technical requirements and high-level platform architecture.
