Lead Product Manager (Securities Law)

Location: USA — New York City, NY

Compensation: $128,900–$226,050 USD annually, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Lead customer and market insight activities for assigned securities legal practice areas.
• Own product direction and execution from discovery through ongoing optimization.
• Translate securities regulation, market developments, and legal workflows into product requirements and customer value propositions.
• Lead practice-area go-to-market execution, including use cases, positioning, launch readiness, customer briefings, webinars, and industry events.
• Partner with Editorial, Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other Product Managers.
• Monitor adoption, usage, retention, customer feedback, revenue, and pipeline signals to recommend improvements to positioning, packaging, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management, legal publishing, legal research, or professional information services.
• Meaningful experience in securities law or related areas, including securities regulation, capital markets, corporate governance, public company disclosure, SEC compliance, broker-dealer regulation, or investment management.
• JD or equivalent legal background strongly preferred.
• Ability to work credibly with securities attorneys, corporate counsel, compliance professionals, legal departments, associations, and market experts.
• Demonstrated customer-facing, market research, go-to-market, and product commercialization experience.
• Ability to translate complex legal and regulatory topics into clear product requirements and customer value.
