Customer Support Specialist III (Freight Logistics)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States. On-site work is required during the first 90 days of Monday–Friday training; a hybrid schedule is available afterward.

What you will do

• Process shipment entries and support timely performance and automation objectives.
• Monitor shipments, update load statuses, and revise plans based on changing shipper, customer, and carrier needs.
• Communicate professionally with customers and carriers, including during service failures and difficult situations.
• Set shipment appointments using external websites and communication tools.
• Set up receivers, vendors, supplier locations, and customer and vendor users on the platform.
• Work with logistics teams to resolve shipment issues and handle detention and other accessorial information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience with intermodal shipments.
• Customer service or service-related industry experience.
• Knowledge of the freight industry and intermodal operations.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work onsite in Memphis during the first 90 days.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Additional intermodal experience.
