Pay: $25.00–$33.00 per hour

What you will do

• Learn and apply underwriting guidelines, policies, and risk-assessment criteria.
• Review insurance applications, verify information, and evaluate potential risks.
• Gather and analyze applicant data, background information, and relevant risk factors.
• Support experienced underwriters in assessing risks and determining appropriate coverage.
• Assist with developing insurance policies and products for specific markets or industries.
• Communicate with agents, brokers, and clients to obtain information and clarify underwriting questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in risk assessment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of insurance principles and practices.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin communication skills.
