What you will do

• Lead research and analysis supporting Arbor’s five-year strategic plan, including market adjacencies, acquisitions, and long-term growth opportunities.
• Maintain competitor intelligence and produce briefings on market shifts for Product and Sales.
• Analyse Arbor’s internal dataset to identify national education trends and create proprietary insights.
• Brief the Management Team on external risks and opportunities and advise on sector developments.
• Build relationships with the DfE, policymakers, and sector influencers to support evidence-based policy discussions.
• Monitor policy and legislative changes, translating their implications into product, commercial, PR, and thought-leadership activity.

Requirements

• Experience combining strategy, public affairs, and analytics, including presenting to management and analysing datasets in Excel.
• Deep knowledge of the UK education sector, government policy, and the EdTech market.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end data projects in research, strategy, or think-tank environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex policy and data clearly.
• Ability to scope, execute, and deliver projects independently as a standalone lead.
