Business & Market Insights Partner (SQL/Databricks)

What you will do

• Own insight projects from initial briefs through analysis, recommendations and action planning.
• Analyse market, sales, loyalty and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and areas for improvement.
• Monitor competitor activity, market developments and industry trends.
• Develop customer and market segmentations to support proposition development and commercial strategy.
• Build and improve insight tools, reporting frameworks, dashboards and KPIs.
• Present clear, actionable findings to Sales, Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Product and Leadership stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in an insight or analytics role, independently delivering projects from start to finish.
• Experience working with large sales, loyalty or customer datasets and applying sound analytical judgement.
• Ability to combine multiple data sources and communicate findings through a clear, compelling narrative.
• Experience turning insight into recommendations that influence business decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and briefing skills.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Databricks are beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail, wholesale, FMCG or foodservice.
• Experience with SQL and Databricks.
