Quality Technician I - 2nd Shift

Location: On-site in Pueblo, Colorado, five days per week; 2nd shift

Hourly base pay: $24.66–$27.34 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct first-piece, in-process, final, and technical quality inspections and audits.
• Investigate plant, supplier, customer, production, and end-of-line quality issues with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and problem solving for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Develop rework and repair instructions and procedures.
• Maintain accurate non-conforming material records and support metric reporting through Quality Management System and Manufacturing Execution System software.
• Read engineering requirements, drawings, and wiring schematics; use precision measurement tools and voltmeters.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience testing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with dimensional and electrical measurement equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot root causes of production and end-of-line testing issues.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, high-volume environment and lift up to 35 lbs.
