Senior Manager, Authentication Engineer (IAM)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work from the assigned hirify.global office 2–3 days per week or as needed by the business. Periodic international and domestic travel of less than 10% is required.

Annual base salary: $124,400–$207,400, plus a 17.5% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the enterprise authentication strategy across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of SSO and MFA frameworks, including federation and passwordless authentication.
• Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud engineering, application development, product, and business teams to integrate secure access capabilities.
• Lead authentication and authorization security controls aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, SOX, and GXP requirements.
• Evaluate identity management tools, manage vendors, and oversee implementation and ongoing support.
• Lead incident investigation, troubleshooting, operational improvements, KPI development, and reporting for authentication services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in identity and access management, including at least 4 years focused on SSO solutions.
• Experience supporting SSO for more than 50,000 users and leading IAM support, engineering, and operations teams.
• Deep knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, identity federation, MFA, cloud IAM, encryption, tokenization, and secure protocols.
• Experience with identity providers such as Okta, Azure AD, or Ping Identity and with long-term complex projects in an agile environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States by any employer and hold permanent U.S. work authorization. U.S. visa sponsorship is not available.
