Corporate IT Security Engineer (IAM/Okta)

Location: Torrance, California, United States. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required for ITAR compliance, and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance is required.

What you will do

• Own the Okta environment, including tenant configuration, application integrations, lifecycle management, MFA, adaptive authentication, workflows, directory synchronization, and audit logging.
• Design RBAC frameworks, role taxonomies, access request workflows, entitlement reviews, access certifications, and segregation-of-duties controls.
• Architect and manage unified MDM across macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android, including CIS and DISA STIG hardening benchmarks, compliance policies, and automated remediation.
• Lead SSO integrations for SaaS, internal, and government-facing applications using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0.
• Implement privileged access and service-account governance, including credential rotation, least-privilege controls, break-glass procedures, and audit logging.
• Partner with security, GRC, network, and product security teams on SIEM integration, Zero Trust enforcement, architecture documentation, and compliance audits.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on IAM engineering experience with production Okta administration.
• Deep experience with Okta SSO, lifecycle management, MFA, adaptive authentication, Okta Workflows, and SIEM log integration.
• Hands-on experience with SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, RBAC frameworks, entitlement reviews, and access certification processes.
• Experience integrating identity platforms with endpoint management, cloud environments, and security monitoring tools.
• Understanding of NIST 800-171 identity and access control requirements, with familiarity with privileged access management and service-account governance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status required.

Nice to have

• Active TS clearance or higher and experience with Okta in AWS GovCloud or Microsoft GCC.
• Experience with Okta Identity Governance, IGA platforms, Cloudflare Zero Trust, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or equivalent tools.
• Background in aerospace, defense, critical infrastructure, or regulated government environments.
• Experience supporting CMMC, FedRAMP, or SOC 2 audits in an IAM engineering capacity.
• Okta, CISSP, or CISM certification.
