Principal Product Manager (Sovereign Cloud)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Jose, California, USA

Base salary: $171,500–$245,000 USD annually, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and execute the product roadmap for Sovereign Cloud solutions.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across engineering, sales, and marketing from concept through market delivery.
• Engage global customers and partners to gather feedback, identify market opportunities, and prioritize investments.
• Analyze competition and anticipate emerging trends in cloud security.
• Influence stakeholders and align teams on strategy, sequencing, and execution tradeoffs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience defining, launching, and scaling successful security products for cloud environments.
• Deep technical expertise in network security and protocols, including proxies, firewalls, TLS, PKI, and HTTP/S.
• Experience with cloud-native services at hyperscalers or major SaaS providers.
• Demonstrated curiosity and active use of AI tools to improve workflows and problem-solving.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including translating complex customer needs into product requirements.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup based in San Jose, California.

Nice to have

• Background in Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Technical Product Management.
• Experience balancing long-term platform strategy with near-term engineering delivery and influencing without direct authority.
• Enterprise networking and hirify.global expertise, including global transit architectures, underlays, ZIA, ZPA, or ZDX.
