Senior Technical Account Manager - Public Sector (Cloud Security)

Location: Remote - USA. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Salary: $129,000–$176,000 USD base salary per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Guide public-sector customers through Wiz deployment, configuration, onboarding, operationalization, and adoption using federal cloud-security best practices.
• Act as the primary technical liaison and resolve complex architectural and operational challenges across federal cloud environments.
• Create customer success plans with measurable security, compliance, and mission objectives.
• Translate Zero Trust, CDM, FedRAMP, ATO, and continuous-monitoring requirements into actionable technical deployment strategies.
• Build relationships with agency CISOs, Authorizing Officials, technical practitioners, military officers, and other federal stakeholders.
• Represent federal customer needs internally, mentor TAMs, develop documentation, and partner with Product and Engineering on government-specific platform enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles supporting cloud or cloud-security products, plus 8+ years working in or supporting the U.S. Federal Government, Military, or Defense Industrial Base.
• Experience delivering solutions on a major cloud platform and using government offerings such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP Assured Workloads.
• Practical experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, DoD CC SRG, DISA STIGs, FIPS, ATO, and continuous monitoring processes.
• Experience deploying and securing Docker or Kubernetes, DevOps tooling, CI/CD, version control, infrastructure as code, and Linux and Windows environments.
• Must have U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Advanced certifications for multiple cloud service providers.
• CISSP or CCSP certification.
• Experience addressing complex cloud-security challenges and influencing senior government and security stakeholders.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
