Senior Software Engineer (CI/CD)

Location: Remote, United States

Base salary: USD $124,000–$329,200 per year, with potential benefits, annual bonus, and stock rewards.

What you will do

• Build and operate highly available, company-wide build and continuous integration systems.
• Drive technical solutions for critical developer experience and infrastructure problems through design guidance and hands-on engineering.
• Improve CI reliability and performance while reducing test flakiness and developer workflow friction.
• Design secure, resilient systems and maintain high-quality production code.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, product management, customers, and leadership to align technical direction and communicate risks.
• Iteratively ship platform features and bug fixes while balancing immediate delivery with long-term velocity.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• Production software development experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• Experience maintaining and delivering production software.
• Strong technical communication, ownership, architectural judgment, and ability to work through ambiguity.
• Experience with production infrastructure on a major cloud platform, infrastructure-as-code, or container orchestration is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience working remotely as part of a distributed software engineering team.
• Production experience with a general-purpose language such as Go or Ruby and willingness to learn new languages.
• Experience building and operating cloud infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code and container orchestration tooling.
