Manager, Product Operations

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States of America; onsite with Consumer PC product leadership

Salary: $130,700–$205,200 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for US candidates.

What you will do

• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc executive presentations for the Vice President of Product Management and Consumer PC leadership.
• Maintain unified reporting on product performance, portfolio milestones, launch readiness, PLC status, initiatives, OKRs, risks, dependencies, and actions.
• Partner with Finance and functional owners to report plans, actuals, forecasts, budgets, variances, investments, and cost actions.
• Coordinate inputs across Product Management, Engineering, Software, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, Services, and external partners.
• Track operating forums, decisions, action items, deadlines, and follow-through across review cycles and time zones.
• Automate data collection, KPI and budget refreshes, variance detection, reminders, dashboards, and first drafts of executive reports using APIs, workflow tools, low-code platforms, and AI.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in product operations, business operations, program management, analytics, financial or business reporting, product-management support, or a related technology role.
• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, finance, analytics, information systems, product management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience preparing executive reports and presentations, coordinating recurring business reviews, and synthesizing inputs from multiple functions.
• Strong spreadsheet, data-analysis, dashboard, presentation-development, written-communication, and senior-stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience tracking budgets, forecasts, business metrics, and plan attainment in partnership with Finance or business owners.
• Ability to work onsite in Palo Alto, California, United States of America.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCs, consumer electronics, hardware and software products, or complex product-development environments.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Power Query, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Jira, Aha!, Productboard, Microsoft Power Platform, or SharePoint.
• Experience with APIs, workflow automation, low-code tools, scripting, and AI assistants or agents.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle processes, hardware and software development terminology, and portfolio or roadmap reporting.
• Experience supporting geographically distributed organizations and teams or partners in Greater China.
