Systems Administrator Seniors – Middleware & Automation

What you will do

• Deploy, administer, and support IBM WebSphere Application Server and IBM WebSphere MQ across distributed Linux and Windows environments.
• Design and maintain middleware clusters, queue managers, messaging channels, JVMs, and application runtime environments for high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Develop Ansible automation, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines for middleware provisioning, configuration management, application deployments, and environment consistency.
• Perform middleware upgrades, fix pack installations, SSL certificate management, security hardening, and platform monitoring.
• Troubleshoot complex application and messaging issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support on-premises and cloud-based middleware platforms.
• Integrate middleware operations with ServiceNow workflows and collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams on releases and platform enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus five years of progressively responsible experience; alternatively, a relevant master’s degree plus three years of experience.
• Experience managing IBM WebSphere Application Server, including ND setup, clustering, performance tuning, and automation.
• Experience administering IBM WebSphere MQ, including setup, configuration, clustering, SSL implementation, and RDQM for high availability.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud technologies.
• Experience with Ansible automation, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Git, SSL certificate management, and secure channel configuration across middleware platforms.
• Experience with WebSphere, MQ, JBoss, Tomcat, and distributed Linux and Windows environments.
