TL;DR
Senior Mechanical Engineer – Cable Magnets (Fusion Energy): Designing and delivering cable magnet hardware for fusion power projects with an accent on thermal, structural, and electromagnetic analysis. Focus on resolving production issues, implementing design-for-manufacturing changes, and supporting procurement, assembly, and installation in extreme environments.

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid. The role requires occasional travel, nights, weekends, and on-call support, as well as work in a facility with industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics.

Salary: $110,000–$185,000 per year, plus equity and benefits. The range applies to new hires across US locations.
