Engineering Excellence Intern

Location: Remote - Nationwide within the United States; candidates must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require. Eastern or Central Time Zone preference.

Salary: $25 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze and document engineering processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
• Gather and document requirements for new or revised engineering metrics.
• Help develop, test, and weekly validate metrics for accuracy.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and issues, then recommend solutions.
• Prepare and present training materials for revised metrics.
• Participate in meetings with engineering leaders, training sessions, workshops, and networking events.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s program, preferably in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Overall GPA of 3.5 required; 3.7 GPA in the major preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Availability aligned with the Eastern or Central Time Zone and willingness to travel for onsite work as business needs require.
• Interest in healthcare technology and process improvement, with curiosity about innovation and AI; no prior experience is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R.
• GPA of 3.7 or higher in the major.
