Technician I - Process (Implant/Diffusion) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Front Days shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, 7:00 a.m.–7:12 p.m.

Hourly pay: $19–$27 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Operate production equipment and support semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Perform equipment checks, qualifications, calibrations, recipe updates, and first-line troubleshooting.
• Identify process, product, and tool issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze manufacturing data, document experiments, and prepare progress, passdown, and process reports.
• Work with engineers on OCAP documents, experiments, process improvements, and equipment changes.
• Certify and train production operators while coordinating with personnel across departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing practices, process flows, and basic SPC theory and implementation.
• Ability to create and edit recipes, perform machine calibrations, troubleshoot equipment failures, and improve manufacturing processes.
• Strong computer, spreadsheet, technical documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced production environment and work with limited supervision.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull approximately 25 pounds; the role involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, noise, fumes, and electrical or mechanical hazards.

Nice to have

• Associate of Science degree or higher.
• Two or more years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of diffusion or implant processes.
• Experience with Design of Experiments or automated manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical journals and apply statistical, probability, geometry, and trigonometry concepts.
