Staff Technical Program Manager (Vision AI)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end evaluation lifecycle for vision AI experiments, defining hypotheses, success criteria, evaluation frameworks, and evidence-based kill, iterate, or scale decisions.
• Lead evaluations of capture devices, depth sensors, gloves, edge compute, and data and annotation vendors, including RFPs, scorecards, and vendor selection.
• Coordinate engineering, Legal, Site Operations, Finance, warehouse operations, external AI and robotics partners, and academic collaborators.
• Manage the data pipeline from pilot capture through annotation, validation, secure buyer delivery, and production readiness.
• Track annotation throughput, QA cadence, data quality, capture yield, delivery metrics, and operational readiness.
• Maintain consent, privacy, data rights, risk, executive communication, and decision governance across the program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Management, or complex cross-functional delivery roles.
• End-to-end experience running computer vision, ML, or data pipeline programs, including data collection, annotation, model training pipelines, or data platform delivery.
• Experience managing hardware and data or annotation vendors through RFPs, structured evaluations, scorecards, and strategic partnerships.
• Ability to translate between research, engineering, and operations in technical CV, ML, and data environments.
• Strong execution discipline, experience with agile or sprint-based environments, and comfort operating in ambiguous 0-to-1 programs.

Nice to have

• Experience in innovation labs, R&D, advanced automation, warehouse automation, robotics integration, or fulfillment operations.
• Familiarity with egocentric or robotics datasets, Scale, MLOps, or delivering datasets to external customers.
• Experience with data governance, privacy, or consent programs involving BIPA, GDPR, or CCPA.
• Knowledge of WMS, OMS, WES, WCS, digital twins, or simulation initiatives.
• Experience with frontier AI companies, robotics companies, academic research institutions, or emerging technology partners.
