Engineering Manager, FlashArray File Features

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; primarily in-office work from the Prague office is required

What you will do

• Lead the full software development lifecycle for core FlashArray file features, from design through production rollout.
• Define the technical roadmap for multi-server and directory services with senior architects and Product Management.
• Champion rigorous testing, CI/CD health, operational ownership, and defect prevention.
• Manage and mentor a team of 5–8 engineers working on complex distributed systems.
• Coordinate dependencies across Protocol, Security, Product, Architecture, and global R&D teams.
• Lead the senior team responsible for multi-platform directory services.

Requirements

• Experience managing and developing high-performing software engineering teams.
• Software engineering background building high-throughput distributed systems and customer-facing software.
• Ability to guide architecture reviews, resolve technical trade-offs, and support sound engineering decisions.
• Experience collaborating across geographically distributed engineering, product, architecture, and security teams.
• Track record of delivering complex products through the full development lifecycle using pragmatic Agile practices.
• Ability to work from the Prague office in accordance with company policies.
