Platform Engineering Manager

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; in-person work with 4 days on-site and 1 day working from home. Offices are also available in San Francisco.

Compensation: CZK 180K–CZK 360K per month, plus equity.

hirify.global is a fast-growing Series A startup building Agent Cloud infrastructure for AI labs and consumer and enterprise AI agents.

What you will do

• Lead the Platform engineering team through 1:1s, performance reviews, career development, hiring, and daily people management.
• Own delivery quality, project scoping, execution, prioritization, and unblocking.
• Provide technical guidance, maintain code-review standards, and translate core architecture into team practices.
• Own cloud operations, Terraform automation, BYOC, orchestration, and the platform on-call rotation.
• Surface operational and project insights to the technical leadership group and lead incident follow-up.
• Remain hands-on as a major contributor to platform engineering projects.

Requirements

• Experience leading or mentoring infrastructure or platform engineering teams.
• 5+ years building and operating infrastructure, especially distributed systems at scale.
• 5+ years of Linux experience, including kernel, networking, storage, namespaces, and containers.
• Hands-on experience with cloud operations, Terraform or other IaC, and Kubernetes or Nomad.
• Strong standards for delivery and engineering quality, with proactive ownership of product areas.
• Comfort working in person with users and colleagues on a DevTool product.
