Salary: $111,300–$176,720 USD per year, depending on level.

What you will do

  • Lead process improvement and defect-reduction initiatives by analyzing quality and production data, identifying root causes, and improving first-pass yield.
  • Develop process controls, inspection procedures, acceptance criteria, and quality control plans for high-precision manufacturing.
  • Optimize inspection strategies using CMM programming, Gage R&R, Cpk analyses, and sampling techniques.
  • Manage customer quality activities, audits, PPAP, FAIR, and other quality documentation and deliverables.
  • Manage nonconformances, corrective and preventive actions, root cause analysis, and Material Review Board processes.
  • Build quality dashboards and reports, support process validation and NPI, and mentor quality team members.

Requirements

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
  • Experience leading quality initiatives involving process improvement, defect reduction, and inspection optimization in manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency with PPAP, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of CMM programming, Gage R&R, sampling techniques, and inspection effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent quality-focused experience; regulated-industry experience and knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or IATF 16949 are preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SPC and Cpk process capability analysis.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification.
  • Experience with additive manufacturing or automated inspection systems.
