Sr. Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis - Banking / Financial Services

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid arrangement with at least 3 days per week onsite at the Chicago office

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 annually, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, Board reports, earnings memos, and analyses for the US Region.
• Support consolidated forecasting, planning, capital planning, and risk-weighted asset analysis.
• Conduct expense analysis and serve as an expense subject matter expert.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and financial analysis for the US Region CFO.
• Review competitor results, identify industry trends, and benchmark company performance.
• Handle ad hoc reporting requests for senior finance managers, Corporate Treasury, Risk, and cross-border stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning or financial reporting, preferably in banking.
• Advanced analytical skills and strong MS Excel knowledge, including lookups, pivot tables, and large data sets.
• Ability to prepare executive-level PowerPoint presentations that clearly communicate financial and business performance.
• Experience with Essbase; Tableau or Power BI experience is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of banking fundamentals, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location; visa sponsorship is not offered.
