Senior Research Associate (Immunoassay)

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA; laboratory-based, with up to 75% of the day spent at a lab bench.

Annual base salary: $67,900–$101,000, plus potential discretionary or non-discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Execute experiments supporting reagent and assay development projects with limited supervision.
• Analyze experimental data in support of research and development objectives.
• Advance biomarker measurement and immunoassay technology projects.
• Execute complex experiments, identify issues, and troubleshoot solutions.
• Manage multiple changing priorities, time-sensitive deliverables, and laboratory activities.

Requirements

• Knowledge of immunoassay technology.
• Ability to execute complex experiments with limited guidance and work independently or collaboratively.
• Solid data analysis skills and basic knowledge of statistics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work at heights above four feet occasionally and move or lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GraphPad Prism.
• Knowledge of SharePoint.
