Head of Data Science (Healthcare)

Location: Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii)

Compensation: $236,250 – $280,298 (Total cash including base salary and bonus)

What you will do

• Lead a dedicated data science team to analyze business and product performance.
• Design and conduct experiments to address consumer pain points.
• Translate technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Guide analysts' work while driving your own high-impact projects.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to influence product planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in quantitative fields.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or data science supporting multiple business functions.
• Solid people management experience with a track record of building and leading teams.
• Expertise in Python and/or SQL, plus familiarity with visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Deep understanding of product analytics metrics (retention, conversion, churn) and A/B testing.
• Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).

• Experience in high-growth startups or consumer digital marketplaces.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry.
• Experience incorporating AI into analytics workflows.
• Experience with Machine Learning and Ranking systems.
