Senior Data Scientist

Location: NYC HQ preferred; remote work is possible for exceptional candidates.

hirify.global partners with musculoskeletal provider groups and specialty clinics to improve clinic operations, patient acquisition, clinical workflows, and longitudinal patient engagement through its healthcare platform.

What you will do

• Own product and operational analytics across retention, cohort behavior, funnel performance, and engagement.
• Define and maintain the core metrics used across the company.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to instrument features and measure outcomes.
• Build analyses that answer open-ended operational questions and investigate data anomalies to root cause.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
• Maintain dashboards, analytical models, and data hygiene practices that make analysis repeatable.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data science or analytics, ideally in a product-driven environment.
• BS or equivalent, with strong analytical and logical reasoning.
• Depth in product or operational analytics, including retention, cohort, funnel, and engagement analysis.
• Strong SQL and fluency in Python or R.
• Ability to define analyses independently when questions are ambiguous.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, digital health, or another regulated data environment.
• Experience building analytics infrastructure from an early stage.
