Benchling Solutions Consultant

Location: United States; remote work is supported, with hybrid work encouraged for hires located within a reasonably short commute of an office.

What you will do

• Scope Benchling projects, gather requirements, generate documentation, and assess system capabilities.
• Maintain and support client Benchling test and production environments.
• Configure and update registry and result data models, notebook templates, workflows, recipe schemas, inventory hierarchies, and labels.
• Create and update Insights dashboards, analyses, and automation runs using the Connect Module.
• Perform spreadsheet-based legacy data migrations and imports into Benchling.
• Develop and maintain client-specific training materials and deliver Benchling end-user training.

Requirements

• Experience with Benchling implementation, configuration, and managed service support.
• Ability to scope solutions, gather requirements, document needs, and align them with Benchling capabilities.
• Experience configuring data models, workflows, schemas, dashboards, automations, labels, and inventory structures.
• Experience with spreadsheet-based data migrations and imports.
• Ability to support Benchling users and create training materials.

Nice to have

• Experience configuring Benchling in vivo software.
• Understanding and use of Benchling APIs for integrations.
