Product Scale Up Engineer (Polymer Materials)

What you will do

• Lead the development of polyurethane and other polymeric pad products.
• Demonstrate manufacturing capability for new formulations and optimize processes to meet cost and quality targets.
• Lead new product introduction through the stage-gate process and transfer technologies to high-volume manufacturing.
• Develop safe operating procedures for pilot trials, conduct pre-startup reviews, and address environmental, health, and safety issues.
• Analyze manufacturing and physical product data, prepare commercialization technology packages, and establish SPC charts, control plans, and quality systems.
• Support customer-driven improvements, evaluation product supply, and continuous improvement in high-volume manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and statistical data analysis skills.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional project management.
• Experience with new product introduction or product commercialization is preferred.
• Experience in production or pilot production plants is preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt Project Leader certification or higher is preferred.
