Engineering Technician

What you will do

• Design, test, assemble, modify, and troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical systems, prototypes, tools, and test fixtures.
• Diagnose system-level and component-level issues in electrical and mechanical subsystems with minimal supervision.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Support complex new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, and product-performance improvements.
• Compile logbooks, technical reports, test procedures, and engineering documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior Engineering Technicians and support quality leadership activities.

Requirements

• Advanced specialized expertise in an analytical or scientific technical area.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
• Ability to work with limited or no documentation and solve complex problems using technical judgment.
• Ability to communicate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and related teams.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, lift, work in tight spaces, distinguish colors, and work in noisy and cleanroom environments with required PPE.
