Engine Development Specialist (Automotive)

What you will do

• Manage documentation and traceability for technical changes.
• Coordinate and track engine and battery component development projects.
• Support production-line issue analysis and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare proposals and supporting data for cost optimization and savings initiatives.
• Support project management activities, including release status reporting, stakeholder meetings, and progress monitoring.
• Track prototype and validation parts, monitor testing activities, and follow up on results and required actions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience developing engine components.
• Knowledge of materials and their properties, engine parts and peripherals, basic mechanical engineering, and fluids.
• Basic knowledge of design programs such as Pro-E, CATIA, or Creo.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• German at A2 level.
