Location: Puebla, Puebla, Mexico
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automotive Design Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and communication between ECUs.
- Ability to drive vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
- Fluent English required.
- Six-month position.
What you will do
- Register, update, and track road-test failures for pre-production, zero-series, and prototype vehicles.
- Issue work orders to USA-Mexico quality stations and coordinate vehicle updates, verification, and follow-up activities.
- Evaluate prototype modules, components, and ECU software versions during domestic and international tests.
- Perform preliminary failure analyses, monitor measurements, upload major faults to the KPM system, and prepare follow-up reports.
- Install and configure data loggers, collect vehicle performance data, and distribute information to specialists.
- Communicate part replacements and vehicle status updates during regular quality meetings.
