What you will do

• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with pharmacy practice standards.
• Support the Superintendent Pharmacist, Head of Pharmacy, and Pharmacy Manager in developing and maintaining pharmacy procedures.
• Deputise for the Pharmacy Manager and help run pharmacy operations.
• Check dispensed prescriptions and coordinate order dispatch through courier services.
• Manage pharmacy near misses, create action plans, and work with the Risk and Safety team to resolve incidents.
• Support service development, staff training, medicine compounding, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is required.
• High levels of professional expertise and strong knowledge of pharmacy operations.
• Knowledge of national and local pharmacy services.
• Strong communication skills for effective face-to-face interactions with customers and patients.
• Collaborative, team-centred approach and commitment to patient care.
• Open to junior or senior-level pharmacists.
