Financial Analyst

Location: Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada

Requirements

• University degree in accounting or finance.
• Completed professional designation such as CPA or CFA.
• At least eight years of related experience.
• Strong IT skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented approach, analytical ability, and capacity to work independently under deadlines.
• Effective communication with senior management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do

• Track and consolidate forecasts for new and existing transformation projects.
• Challenge assumptions, identify risks, and assess impacts on the strategic plan.
• Provide monthly financial progress updates to the CFO and Transformation Director.
• Coordinate cross-segment inputs and guide assumptions for new business cases.
• Support consolidated financial forecasting, performance analysis, strategic planning, and annual budgeting.
• Maintain financial models, prepare reports and presentations for senior management, and improve planning and forecasting processes, including through AI.
