TL;DR
Lead Quality Engineer (Selenium/BDD): Designing and executing manual and automated tests for web applications and microservices with an accent on test coverage, API validation, and test data management. Location: Hybrid in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico

is hiring for a quality engineering role within its Digital Engineering department.
What you will do
- Analyze business and technical requirements and design test scenarios for web applications and microservices.
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and BDD methodologies.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, user acceptance, and accessibility testing.
- Validate APIs, databases, and end-to-end workflows with Postman and SoapUI.
- Manage test data and environments, track defects in Zephyr and JIRA, and collaborate with development teams on resolution.
- Prepare test reports and quality metrics, support production validation, and contribute to Agile ceremonies and release testing.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of quality engineering experience with web applications and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Experience with Test Data Management, Jenkins, Selenium WebDriver, BDD, SoapUI, Zephyr, TDD, and JAWS accessibility testing.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certification is required or expected.
Nice to have
- Cucumber and CI/CD pipeline integration experience.
- Performance testing with JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Cloud testing experience with AWS or Azure.
- Advanced API automation and experience with Cypress or Playwright.
- Certification in Selenium or test automation frameworks.
