Software Development Engineer in Test II (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Design, develop, document, and maintain test tools, cases, and automation frameworks for current and next-generation software platforms.
• Plan, write, execute, and automate functional and data validation test plans from requirements and system designs.
• Partner with Product Management, Software Engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams on releases, test environments, and CI/CD practices.
• Build quality, performance, reliability, scalability, and testability into applications and data models.
• Manage defects, diagnose issues, review unit tests, and coordinate resolution with development teams.
• Analyze data health and consistency and document automation framework functions, test results, and performance criteria.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 5 years of relevant technical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with an object-oriented programming language.
• Professional experience developing and testing in C# or Java.
• Experience with Appium and Selenium, including automated testing of iOS and Android applications.
• Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and scaling extensible, maintainable, and high-performance test automation frameworks.
• Experience with end-to-end test strategies, software development lifecycles, Agile practices, source control, code reviews, and technical communication.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or Linux.
• Experience with microservices architecture and backend API testing.
