TL;DR
Senior SDET (Fintech) (Java/Selenium/AI): Building production-grade test automation, testing tools, and quality practices for a fintech platform processing millions of financial transactions with an accent on test architecture, CI/CD integration, and engineering enablement. Focus on designing unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end strategies, using AI to identify coverage gaps and flaky tests, and improving quality across a 50+ engineer organization.

What you will do
- Build and maintain production-grade automated tests, testing tools, and test scripts.
- Define unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing strategies for the squad.
- Improve test coverage, reliability, execution speed, and quality feedback loops.
- Track quality metrics including coverage, flakiness, test times, and defect rates.
- Use AI to generate tests, identify edge cases and coverage gaps, and prioritize testing efforts.
- Coach engineers, lead quality initiatives, and promote shift-left testing practices.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience as a software engineer or SDET.
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python and experience writing production-grade automation code.
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, Rest Assured, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, or similar testing frameworks and tools.
- Deep knowledge of unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
- Fluent Spanish and working English for cross-team collaboration are required.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, payments, or other high-reliability systems.
- Mobile testing experience with Flutter, iOS, Android, Maestro, or Patrol.
- Performance and load testing experience with JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Contract testing with Pact, API testing, or experience managing a Sauce Labs device farm.
- Open-source contributions to testing tools or frameworks.
