Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Location: Dinastía, Nuevo León, Mexico; remote workplace

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automated test suites.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Develop regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Execute API automation with Postman or similar tools and troubleshoot test failures.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve execution reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams throughout the SDLC and Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong TypeScript experience and knowledge of UI and API automation.
• Experience with REST APIs, Postman or similar API testing tools, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of regression, functional, end-to-end, and smoke testing, as well as test planning and BDD/TDD practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with C#/.NET applications, SQL and database testing, Docker, Azure or AWS.
• Performance testing experience with JMeter or similar tools.
• Experience with Cypress, TestCafe, Puppeteer, WebdriverIO, or Pack-flow.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
