Quality Management & EHS Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; travel across UAE operational sites and periodically to Qatar, approximately 20%.

What you will do

• Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and corporate requirements.
• Support EHS programs aligned with ISO 45001 and hirify.global standards.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and support external certification, customer, and surveillance audits.
• Investigate quality issues, non-conformities, incidents, and corrective actions, and contribute to risk mitigation.
• Develop processes, documentation, QHSE KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting.
• Guide operational teams, support training and emergency preparedness, and collaborate with regional and global EMEA stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, quality, safety, or related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience supporting Quality Management Systems and applying ISO 9001 in practice.
• Experience participating in or conducting internal audits, quality reviews, or certification activities.
• Knowledge of risk management, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel regionally and access operational and customer sites subject to site requirements and approvals.

Nice to have

• Experience with integrated Quality and EHS management systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, NEBOSH certification, or an equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Internal Auditor certification or audit training.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, PDCA, or other continuous improvement methods.
• Experience in defence, aviation, aerospace, maintenance, simulation, training, engineering, or other highly regulated industries.
