Maintenance Supervisor 3rd (Automotive Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Lead maintenance technicians, schedule work, assign work orders, and ensure staffing for production needs.
• Coordinate responses to equipment breakdowns, repairs, and root cause analysis.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment histories, and spare parts inventory.
• Support maintenance budgeting, capital improvement planning, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 4 years of applicable experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in automotive manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
• Experience leading maintenance teams, delegating tasks, managing priorities, and promoting safety and accountability.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
