Senior Solution Architect (Autonomous Networks)

Location: Hybrid role based in Évora, Fundão, Lisboa - Expo, or VNG - Cais Gaia, with regular travel to Düsseldorf for approximately 25% onsite presence

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end network automation solutions.
• Define the automation strategy and guide teams on architecture, best practices, and processes.
• Provide technical leadership across IP/MPLS, SDN, and network controller technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support project activities in Düsseldorf through periodic onsite presence.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in telecom or network transformation environments.
• Strong expertise in IP, MPLS, and SDN technologies.
• Solid knowledge of network automation, including YANG, Python, and Ciena Blue Planet.
• Experience with CNC and controller-based network management solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel regularly to Düsseldorf, with approximately 25% onsite presence.
