Solutions Architect (AWS/IoT)

Location: Lisboa, Portugal; hybrid work model with 8–10 in-office days per month.

What you’ll do

• Interpret business and technical challenges and align proposed solutions with customer and business requirements.
• Define and manage end-to-end, component-level, and infrastructure solution architectures.
• Design products and services across the assigned portfolio in collaboration with Product Owners, Software Engineers, DevOps teams, partners, and local markets.
• Specify data models, analytics requirements, interfaces, and APIs while embedding security requirements into solution designs.
• Assess impact and feasibility, validate requirements, and ensure integration with enabling platforms and services.
• Provide technical expertise for technology selection and make-or-buy decisions in line with architecture standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or a technical institute certificate, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing secure, scalable, distributed, and cloud-based architectures, particularly with AWS.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, security by design, multi-region cloud solutions, web security, and REST/SOAP architectures.
• Expertise in AWS services and authentication technologies including SSO and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience designing and developing resilient systems in Agile/Scrum and Continuous Delivery environments.
• Knowledge of IoT technologies including Modbus, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mesh networks; fluent English required.
